Huskies and heat - windshot

Huskies' coats not only help to insolate them from the cold, but also from the heat.  Of course, they can still overheat,  so make sure they have plenty of cool water at all times and a shady space where they can cool off.  Every husky is different and it's not unknown for huskies to even sunbathe; Angel is the prime example of this.  Others like Peter will slope off silently into the shade and sleep until the temperature drops.
